Privacy Policy

When you use Collabaroo, we collect:

• Account data: email address, authentication provider (Google or email/password)
• Profile data: full name, Instagram handle, city, niche, follower range, collab types, languages, bio, and profile photo
• Interaction data: swipe decisions (pass / interested), matches, and any messages sent through the Platform
• Technical data: IP address, device type, browser type, and usage patterns (via service logs)

We use your data to:

• Operate and improve the Collabaroo platform
• Show your profile to other verified creators
• Match you with creators who have mutual interest
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, notifications)
• Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Your data is stored in Supabase (a Postgres database) hosted on AWS infrastructure. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. Data is stored in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) or us-east-1 region depending on our Supabase project configuration. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

• Google OAuth — optional sign-in. If you use Google sign-in, Google's privacy policy applies to the authentication step. We only receive your email address and name from Google.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data (via your profile settings)
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing rahul@collabaroo.app. We will delete your account, profile, and all associated data within 30 days. Some anonymised aggregate data (e.g. total swipe counts) may be retained for analytics purposes.

Collabaroo uses session cookies to maintain your login state. These are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
